The shore is split into two areas, which are known as the <strong>Levante<\/strong> (East) and <strong>Ponente<\/strong> (West) beaches. Where they meet in the middle stands the spellbinding <strong>Sanctuary of the Madonna dell\u2019Angelo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you include the stretches of shore in the neighbouring areas of <strong>Porto Santa Margherita<\/strong>, <strong>Lido Altanea<\/strong> and <strong>Duna Verde<\/strong>, Caorle\u2019s coastline spans a huge 12 kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to enjoy yourself on the sand without having to hire an umbrella, you can head to Caorle\u2019s <strong>public beaches<\/strong>. There are large areas spread all along the coast that are ideal places to enjoy a day by the sea in complete freedom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2083188\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-4.jpg\" alt=\"spiagge libere caorle (4)\" width=\"470\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2083193\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-3.jpg\" alt=\"spiagge libere caorle (3)\" width=\"470\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On these expanses of sand without the hired umbrellas and deck chairs that are traditionally found on Italian beaches, you can take it easy as you lie down on a towel or even bring your own umbrellas and deck chairs from home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2083198\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-10.jpg\" alt=\"spiagge libere caorle (10)\" width=\"470\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The public area on the Ponente beach is unquestionably one of the most popular and best known spots. It reaches all of the way to the mouth of the Livenza River.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most charming free-access areas is \u201c<strong>Sacheta<\/strong>\u201d beach, which is near the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell\u2019Angelo and just a stone\u2019s throw from the old town centre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2083203\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lampo.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/spiagge-libere-caorle-11.jpg\" alt=\"spiagge libere caorle (11)\" width=\"470\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you love strolling at the first light of dawn \u2013 even when you\u2019re on holiday \u2013 then you should opt for the <strong>Falconera<\/strong> public beach, where you can watch the sun come up over the sea along with the numerous surfers out among the waves. They come here in droves because this stretch of coast is ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.<\/p>\n<p>If you prefer <strong>Lido Altanea<\/strong>, as well as the private sections of the beach, you can find a public area there.
