Where to park in Caorle

It isn’t always easy to find somewhere to park your car in the summer in popular beach resorts like Caorle, especially in high season and at the weekend, so we’ve put together some suggestions for you.

Paid parking in unsupervised car parks or blue lines

 

Parking in Caorle’s old town centre is nearly always subject to payment:

  • In the summer (01/05 to 30/09) it costs €1.50 an hour from 9:00 am until 12 midnight
  • In the winter (01/10 to 30/04) it costs €1.50 an hour from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm

In Via Traghete and Via Aldo Moro you can park for free from Monday to Thursday all year round. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, it costs €1.50 an hour from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm.

As well as being very handy when you’re going to Levante Beach, it’s also near the bus station, Acquafollie water park, the weekly Saturday market and the fairground.
In addition, it only takes a few minutes to walk to Caorle old town centre.

 

If you want to park even closer to the market, go toParcheggio Piazza Mercato. In the summer (01/05 to 30/09) it is open from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and it costs €0.50 an hour.

 

Another option for parking in Caorle is in the bays marked with blue lines, which are only subject to payment in the summer (01/05 to 30/09). It costs €1.50 an hour from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. It is free in the winter (01/10 to 30/04).

 

Paid parking with video surveillance

 

If you feel safer leaving your vehicle in a location with video surveillance, below you can find details of car parks of this kind in the town.

 

The multi-storey car park on Viale dei Tropici, near the Orologio marina, is a short walk not only from Ponente beach but also from Viale Santa Margherita: a vibrant street in Caorle town centre that’s home to a host of services, shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars.
Parking costs €1.50 an hour in the summer months (01/05 to 30/09) and €0.50 in the winter (01/10 to 30/04). Alternatively, you can pay €10.00 for a full day’s parking in the summer and €5.00 in the winter.

 

If you’d like information about the resort and ideas for holiday activities, leave your vehicle at the “A. Bafile” Culture Centre Car Park. The entrance is on Via delle Cape and it is very near the tourism promotion board, the tourist information centre and the historic Rio Terrà area.

In the summer (01/05 to 30/09), parking costs €2.50 an hour from 8:00 am to 12 midnight. It is free from 12 midnight until 8:00 am.

 

Finally, there is theParcheggio Municipio underground car park. The entrance is on Via Roma, near the bell tower and the cathedral. It is a great starting point for a spellbinding stroll through the heart of Caorle. Top it off with some delicious ice cream and a walk alongside the legendary “living rocks” (link alla pagina della scogliera) that have been carved by internationally renowned artists. Alternatively, park there and go down to Sacheta beach next to the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell’Angelo to enjoy the stunning sunset with your feet in the sand.

Parking costs €2.50 an hour in the summer (01/05 to 30/09) and it is free from 12 midnight to 8:00 am.

 

If you’d like to take a more environmentally friendly approach and leave your car outside Caorle, you can use the park and ride service that was launched a number of years ago to reduce the traffic in the town centre. You can leave your vehicle for free in a large car park by the entrance to Caorle and then take a free bus into the town centre.
