Unmissable for those visiting Caorle is the waterfront promenade, which starts from the Levante beach, touches the Church of the Madonna dell’Angelo, continues all along the “living” reef and ends at the Caorle Lighthouse on the Livenza River. The waterfront promenade, although about 7 kilometers long, is very pleasant both in summer and winter because of the splendid view of the sea of Caorle.

Brussa: Caorle's wild paradise of dunes, pine forest and birdwatching

To the east of Caorle, beyond the Nicesolo canal, lies the wild beach called Brussa, the extreme edge of the Valle Vecchia lagoon that faces the sea. This beach, still intact and virgin with no buildings, can be reached by car or bicycle (ca 30 km) and is considered a true natural paradise for its flora and fauna conservation areas. It consists of the pine forest, sand dunes, reeds and a shoreline with colors ranging from golden, green, red and blue. Undisputed realm of migratory and resident birds it has special bird watching stations and a Nature Museum.
